Week Two - Symphonies
The symphony is often viewed as the most "sacred" of forms; the Holy Grail for composers; the proof of a composer's merit. So "naturally", women were barred from the genre and considered too "intellectually inept" to take it on. This week we'll take a look at what women did create in the genre, and what they are creating today.
